The project is the third UHV DC transmission project invested by State Grid Corporation after Xiangjiaba-Shanghai-Jinping-South Jiangsu projects. It is the first UHV transmission project to implement the "Xinjiang electric power delivery" strategy and it is also the first UHV project bundled by large-scale thermal power and wind power bases in northwest of China.
The electrical insulation parts used in this project are D&F’s electrical insulation structural parts, including CNC machining parts, insulation tension poles, SMC fiber channels, etc.
