Epoxy Glass Cloth Rigid Laminated Sheets (EPGC sheets)
EPGC series Epoxy Glass Cloth Rigid Laminated Sheet consists of woven glass cloth impregnated with epoxy thermoseting resin, laminated under high temperature and high pressure. The woven glass cloth shall be alkali-free and treated by silane coupler. EPGC serial sheets include the EPGC201 (NMEMA G10), EPGC202( NEMA FR4), EPGC203(NEMA G11), EPGC204 (NEMA FR5), EPGC306 and EPGC308.
EPGC sheets (thermal class: B~H), produced as per IEC60893-3-2. These sheets have excellent mechanical strength (the thermal state strength retention rate can reach over 50%) under medium temperature or thermal state, as well as the stable electric property (the insulation resistance after immersion reaches 1012Ω ) in high humidity condition. And also with higher voltage endurance / withstand voltage (over 35kV), parallel to lamination. EPGC202, EPGC204 and EPGC306 also have excellent flame retardant property. The sheets also passed toxic and hazardous substance detection (with RoHS Report).
Used as the insulation structural parts in Class B-H electric motors, electrical equipment, which have flame resistance requirements or not, or other applications.

Packing And Storage
The sheets shall be stored in a place where temperature is no higher than 40℃, and be placed horizontally on a bedplate with a height of 50mm or above. Keep away from fire, heat (heating apparatus) and direct sunshine. The storage life of sheets is 18 months from the date of leaving factory. If the storage duration is over 18 months, the product also could be used after being tested to be qualified.
Remarks And Precautions For Application
1 Machining shall comply with JB/Z141-1979, Machining methods of insulation laminated products, because the sheets have inherent difference in attribute from metal.
2 A high speed and small cutting depth shall be applied when machining because of sheets’ weak thermal conductivity.
3 Machining and cutting this product will release much dust and smoke. Suitable measures should be taken to ensure dust levels are within acceptable limits during operations. Local exhaust ventilation and using the suitable dust/particle masks are advised.
4 The sheets are subject to moisture after being machined, a coating of insulating vanish is recommended.
